Anonymous asked: when my best friend got a girlfriend, he didn't even tell me. I didn't even know that he had broken up with his ex-girlfriend. When I try to have a conversation with him he barely talks and I scarcely see him so it's difficult to make plans. I tried to confront him and he just made me feel like I was being silly. He's older than me, but it never bothered him and I don't think it would now. He friend-zoned me last year and he's completely clueless to the way he makes me feel.
That’s a little different then. I don’t want to assume, but I don’t know too much about you, anon, so I’m kind of left to. If you say he friend-zoned you, then you have/had feelings for him. Maybe you flirt without realizing and it makes him uncomfortable. In any event, he’s already distanced himself. You can’t keep pining for someone who has made a point to tell you he’s not interested. I think it’s best to just leave him be, and try to get over him—both the attraction and the friendship.
